Students who have already received mock interviews from former Marians said that it gave them an authentic experience that helped boost their confidence when it came to the real thing.

If you have recently gone through university interviews or have expertise in a particular field, and have a couple of hours to spare, we would value your help.

Careers talks

We offer career advice throughout School to our students, but it is always good for them to hear from those with first-hand experience. We have been offering digital careers talks for Y9-Y13 lasting one hour from our Alumni network. These have been on a variety of topics from Gaming Design to Law and just about everything in between. They have been very well received, so if you have an hour to spare (no travel needed!) you can deliver a virtual session on your career experience.

Work Placements

Accepting a young person into your workplace from Queen Mary’s can really make a difference. It can give them a real idea of what the career entails and help them to decide if it is the right path for them. Reading about the world of work is not the same as experiencing the day-to-day challenges and benefits, so please get in touch if you can offer a placement.
