Owen Strickland (QM 1984-92)

Owen has gained a prestigious national title at the ‘Oscars’ of the wedding industry, by being named as the Best Magician in the UK in 2021.

The former police detective has delighted audiences with his close-up magic tricks at many weddings and corporate events. Having already won the regional award several times he is delighted to have also scooped the national award this year.

“Being a magician is all about bringing joy to people’s lives and escaping reality for a while”, said Owen.
